Molly Pitcher in the War

Molly Pitcher-

Molly Pitcher's husband Jhon Hays had to leave Pennsylvania to join the war, Molly went with him. Molly helped her husband by doing his laundry, cooking and nursing. Molly's real name was Mary Ludwid Hays Mccauley, she got her name from the thirsty men working in the war, she served them water. When John Hays claposed while shooting the cannon Molly took over her husbands job.

~In the picture below it is showing Molly shotting a shot out of a cannon, which was her husbands job but when he fainted at the site she took over.
